Deepa Pillai is a training consultant with Fortress Intelligence and has over 12 years’ of professional experience in the communications and publishing industry. She has also lectured and trained in both academic and corporate environments in Singapore and the United States.

As a trainer, she conducts training workshops for corporate clients and specializes in Business Writing, Creative Thinking, Problem Solving & Decision Making, and Conflict Management. Through her workshops, Deepa assists organizations to develop effective, cohesive teams and enhance employee relations. Her challenging but supportive training style allows her to achieve optimum results with different levels of staff and management. Deepa has also taught Communication Skills, Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communications, and Team/Group Communication to university students in the United States.

A vibrant and well-informed speaker and trainer, Deepa adopts a training style that reflects an international career in business, training, and communications. As a former communications and publishing professional, she has worked with top management by helping them create and communicate their corporate vision to employees.

Deepa has a Master’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor’s degree in English from the UK. Having studied and worked overseas, Deepa has the ability to connect with different types of people. Her passion is to help people identify their own communication blocks and then teach them the skills to overcome them and put them on the path to being successful and dynamic communicators.
